Abstract

Temperature and air circulation in patient wards are crucial factors that must be considered to ensure the comfort and health of patients. This research aims to develop an automated system capable of controlling the temperature and air circulation in patient wards by utilizing Internet of Things (IoT) technology and the Blynk application. This system applies the inpatient room air circulation standards set by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, using mechanical means to achieve six air exchanges per hour. The Blynk application is used as a user interface to monitor and control the system in real-time via mobile devices. The results of this study show that the temperature and air circulation in patient wards can be well-controlled automatically according to the established regulations, creating a comfortable environment that supports patient recovery. The implementation of this system is expected to be an effective solution in managing the environment of patient wards in healthcare facilities, thus enhancing patient comfort and health, as well as helping to save energy.
