Perancangan dan Implementasi Sistem Monitoring Kualitas Air Berbasis IoT Menggunakan ESP32 dan Dashboard Web
Abstract
Access to clean and safe water is a fundamental and essential necessity to support daily human activities. Meanwhile, rapid population growth demands an efficient water quality monitoring system. This study aims to develop, test, and evaluate a water quality monitoring system based on the ESP32 microcontroller integreted with IoT. The prototype system is designed to measure physical and chemical parameters contained in water, including pH, TDS (Total Dissolved Solids), and Turbidity. The measurement data are displayed on an LCD and also transmitted in real time to a Firebase database, then visualized on a website. The measurement results show good accuracy, indiicated by the MAPE, MAE and RMSE values, which remain within acceptable limits. The developed monitoring website also presents trend graphs of water quality, as well as an on/off relay control feature to regulate sensor data transmission for better energy efficiency. These results provide an innovative and effective solution for real-time and remote water quality monitoring in support of high-quality water provision.
